AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND ACCESS TO PRIMARY AND DENTAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to contract with rural primary health care and dental clinics to leverage federal dollars at newly established or expanded clinic sites. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
