Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 480

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, between lines 18 and 19, insert:

"A. "board" means the board of barbers and cosmetologists;".

2. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

"A. An employee of a body art establishment shall obtain a body artist license, requirements which shall be defined by the board that demonstrate the employee has the training and experience necessary to perform body piercing, tattooing or scarification.".

C. An operator or employee may refuse to provide body art services to a client who is or appears to be intoxicated on alcohol or drugs.".
