AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE MAGDALENA MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT'S TRI-CULTURAL CENTER FOR STUDENT SUCCESS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state board of education for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to pay for salaries and benefits, materials and supplies and equipment and computers for the tri-cultural center for student success at the Magdalena municipal school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
