SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ to HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 424

1. On page 2, line 7, after "to" insert "an Indian nation, tribe or pueblo located wholly or partially in New Mexico, or to".

2. On page 2, line 9, after "Mexico" insert "that is authorized to purchase land and control activities on its land by an act of congress or to purchase land on behalf of the Indian nation, tribe or pueblo".

3. On page 4, line 23, strike "and".

4. On page 4, line 25, strike the period and closing quotation mark and insert in lieu thereof "; and".

5. On page 4, after line 25, insert the following new paragraph to read:

"(7) the state parks division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department."".
