HOUSE BILL 403

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 3, strike Section 2 in its entirety.

2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.

3. On page 8, line 10, after "utility" insert "within New Mexico".

4. On page 9, line 1, after "shall" strike the remainder of the line and insert in lieu thereof "appear as" and on line 2, after "record" insert "owner".

5. On page 9, line 3, strike "and shall appear as record owner".

6. On page 9, line 4, strike "roles. Irrigation" and insert in lieu thereof "rolls for the purpose of irrigation".

7. On page 9, line 6, after "association" insert ", which".

8. On page 11, line 10, after "filed" insert "with the state engineer".

9. On page 12, line 16, after "filed" insert "with the court".

10. On page 12, line 17, after "served" insert "on the parties".

11. On page 15, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new Section 9 to read:

"Section 9. SEVERABILITY.--If any part or application of a provision of this act is held invalid, the remainder or its application to other situations or persons shall not be affected.".

12. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
