AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND AND OPERATE AN OIL AND GAS FIELD TRAINING PROGRAM AT SAN JUAN COLLEGE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of San Juan college for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to expand and operate an oil and gas field training program, including certification and training for well, pipeline and drilling technicians and for field workers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
