AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND NURSING EDUCATION PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES AT SAN JUAN COLLEGE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($375,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of San Juan college for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to expand nursing education program opportunities, including development of curricula for alternative scheduling. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
