MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PURCHASE A CERTAIN VIDEO FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARIES, PUBLIC LIBRARIES AND ARMORIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to purchase a video entitled "A New Mexico Story: The Bataan Death March to the Atomic Bomb" for the library of every middle school, junior high school and high school and for every public library and armory in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
