AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND A PROGRAM FOR CHILD VISITATION AT THE NEW MEXICO WOMEN'S CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 for the purpose of providing funding for transportation and housing for children in need who are visiting their mothers at the New Mexico women's correctional facility. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
