HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 109

1. On page 3, lines 15 through 17, remove the brackets and line-through in their entirety.

2. On page 3, line 17, strike the underscored "The" and insert in lieu thereof "At least twenty-four hours before grand jury proceedings begin, the".

3. On page 5, strike Section 5 in its entirety.

4. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.

5. On page 6, line 15, strike "may" and insert in lieu thereof "would".

6. On page 7, line 5, strike the underscored "The" and insert in lieu thereof "At least twenty-four hours before grand jury proceedings begin, the".

7. On page 7, line 7, strike "may" and insert in lieu thereof "would".

8. On page 7, line 25, strike "five" and insert in lieu thereof "four".

9. On page 8, line 4, strike "fifteen" and insert in lieu thereof "ten".
