MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL CAREER CENTERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO: Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred fifty thousand dollars ($1,550,000) is appropriated from the Reed Act distribution fund, consisting of funds made available to the state of New Mexico on March 13, 2002 pursuant to Section 209 of the federal Temporary Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 2002, to the labor department for expenditure in fiscal years 2004 through 2007 to support high school career centers in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the Reed Act distribution fund.
