Synopsis
of Bill
Senate Joint Memorial 93requests the EMNRD, in
conjunction with the Land of Enchantment Clean Cities Coalition and the Paso
del Norte Clean Cities Coalition, to study alternative fuels infrastructure
needs in New Mexico. The memorial
requests that the study include:

Mexico is required to comply with the federal Energy Policy Act (EPACT).
This Act requires that 75% of light duty vehicles (under 8500 lbs) acquired by
the state be capable of operating on alternative fuels. This study will assist in assessing the necessary
alternative fuels infrastructure in meeting this requirement.
