SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
Senate Joint Memorial 47 requests the Public
Employees Retirement Association (PERA) to study the feasibility of allowing a
volunteer, non-salaried firefighter, who is eligible for a retirement annuity
from the volunteer firefighters retirement fund to collect such an annuity that
they may be entitled to receive.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
No fiscal impact associated with the feasibility
study.
