SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
Senate Bill 420 appropriates $310.0 from the general fund to the Secretary of State to mail a sample ballot of the 2002 general election to every registered voter in Bernalillo County. The bill provides that the mailing shall occur no later than twenty days prior to the general election.

There are currently 289,096 registered voters in
Bernalillo County.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $310.0 contained in this bill is a non-recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
