SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
Senate Bill 407
appropriates $25.0 from the general fund to the Local government Division of
the Department of Finance and Administration for the purpose of contracting for
a traveling exhibition of art of the American West in Ruidoso, in Lincoln
County.

Issues
According to the Office of Cultural Affairs,
this bill does not explain where the exhibition originates, or where it will be
installed -- whether in a state facility, or at a private location.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of
$25.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended
or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY03 shall revert to the
general fund.
