SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
This bill, changes the distribution from the small counties
assistance fund. It increases the population
limit for class B counties from 12,500 to 20,000 to determine eligibility,
which will allow more counties to participate.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
By changing this parameter, five additional counties will receive
small counties assistance monies for a total of $500,000:
Colfax $100,000
Lincoln $100,000
Luna $100,000
Roosevelt $100,000
Torrance $100,000
These
counties previously received no small counties assistance monies.
