SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
Senate Bill 200
appropriates $30.0 from the general fund to the Board of Regents of the
University of New Mexico (UNM) to provide outreach and coordination of public
access to educational and government information on cable access channels.

Issues

This program was not
included in UNM’s budget request submitted to the CHE. Consequently, it was not reviewed nor is it
recommended by the CHE.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of
$30.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any
unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
FY2003 shall revert to the general fund.
