The Senate Corporations and Transportation
Committee Amendment requires that the licensees who are selling alcoholic
beverages by the drink on Christmas day must have a current, valid food service
establishment permit.

CS/SB 152 amends the
Liquor Control Act to allows “alcoholic beverages by the drink” to be served on
Christmas Day in situations where previously
only “beer and wine with meals” have been permitted.
