SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
House Memorial 29, Medication Aides, requests the Board of Nursing to convene an advisory group to study the possible expansion of the role of medication aides in long-term care facilities. Representation on the advisory group should include the Department of Health, the State Agency on Aging and any other affected parties. Finding and recommendations are to be reported to an appropriate interim committee by December 1, 2002.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
There will be costs
associated with the advisory group. The
agencies involved may be able to absorb the costs.
