The House Government and Urban Affairs Committee struck the words “and each February 6 thereafter,”.  The legislation specified February 6, 2002,  and each February 6 thereafter as  Ronald Reagan Day.  It appears that it would be a one-time designation for the year 2002.

House Joint Memorial 28 designates each and every February 6th as Ronald Reagan Day at the [New Mexico] legislature.
