SUMMARY

 

     Synopsis of Bill

 

House Bill 443 appropriates $100.0 from the general fund to the University of New Mexico, School of Architecture for the purpose of working on community-based projects in architecture, planning and landscape architecture with low-income communities and nonprofit organizations.

 

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

 

The appropriation of $100.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.

 

OTHER SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES

 

This project was not approved by the UNM Board of Regents and thus not submitted to the Commission on Higher Education (CHE) for review and recommendation.
