SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 872

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SILVER CITY IN GRANT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

one million three hundred thousand dollars ($1,300,000) for phase 2 construction and expansion of the wastewater treatment plant in Silver City in Grant county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred seven thousand dollars ($107,000) to improve the recreation center, including electrical upgrades, a new roof and construction, in Silver City in Grant county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to remodel city hall and upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in Silver City in Grant county;

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to remodel the municipal court building and upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in Silver City in Grant county;

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to purchase a ladder truck for the fire department in Silver City in Grant county;

four million dollars ($4,000,000) to acquire land for, plan, design, construct and furnish the public library in Silver City in Grant county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to repair the old city shop in Silver City in Grant county.
