FOR A MEMORIAL STATUE OF UNITED STATES SENATOR DENNIS CHAVEZ TO BE PLACED AT DENNIS CHAVEZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN THE BELEN CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICT IN VALENCIA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

• to the state department of public education

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to design and construct a memorial statue of United States Senator Dennis Chavez to be placed at Dennis Chavez elementary school in the Belen consolidated school district in Valencia county.
