SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 432

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Timothy Z. Jennings

FOR INFRASTRUCTURE RENOVATION AND EXPANSION AT HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AND CONSTITUTIONAL SPECIAL SCHOOLS STATEWIDE.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of New Mexico military institute

one million two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($1,275,000) to renovate Lea Hall at New Mexico military institute in Roswell in Chaves county; and

• to the board of regents of New Mexico state university

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for infrastructure improvements, renovation and expansion to existing facilities at New Mexico state university Alamogordo campus in Otero county; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for infrastructure improvements, renovation and expansion to existing facilities at New Mexico state university Carlsbad campus in Eddy county.
