SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 416

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Timothy Z. Jennings

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of health

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase an equipped mobile unit or to purchase equipment for a fixed site for the mammography program in Chaves county; and

• to the state highway and transportation department

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to widen north Atkinson avenue from two to four lanes between Country Club road and Mescalero avenue in Chaves county.
