45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN GRANTS IN CIBOLA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to plan, design and construct a senior center in Grants in Cibola county;

• to the department of environment

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) for equipment for water and sewer improvements in Grants in Cibola county;

two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($275,000) for water and sewer improvements on Mountain road in Grants in Cibola county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to renovate or construct a water tank in Grants in Cibola county; and

one million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) for water and sewer line improvements in Grants in Cibola county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for equipment for street improvements in Grants in Cibola county; and

seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) for improvements on First, Second and Roosevelt streets in Grants in Cibola county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to purchase vehicles for the police department in Grants in Cibola county;

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) to renovate the fire substation in Grants in Cibola county;

sixty-two thousand five hundred dollars ($62,500) to purchase and install lights at Candelaria park in Grants in Cibola county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for a riverwalk canopy in Grants in Cibola county; and

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to plan, design and construct a swimming pool in Grants in Cibola county.
