SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 238

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Dianna J. Duran

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN TULAROSA IN OTERO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to construct a senior center in Tularosa in Otero county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to improve the parking lot at the baseball fields in Tularosa in Otero county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to construct multiuse recreational fields, a complex and concession stands in Tularosa in Otero county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to construct a gazebo and ramada in Vigil park in Tularosa in Otero county;

three hundred thirty thousand dollars ($330,000) to construct a facility to house the police department, ambulance service facilities, municipal judge offices and a courtroom in Tularosa in Otero county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to replace the roof and make repairs and improvements at the volunteer fire department in Tularosa in Otero county.
