SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 168

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Steve Komadina

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to expand the southern Sandoval county regional landfill; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for a hydrology study to monitor wells in Placitas in Sandoval county;

• to the department of health

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to purchase a handicapped-accessible maternal outreach mobile van for Sandoval county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) to purchase public safety vehicles, including prisoner transport vans and sheriff units, for Sandoval county.
