45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT INDEPENDENCE HIGH SCHOOL IN THE RIO RANCHO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to make site improvements, including parking lot paving and irrigation, at Independence high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

one hundred thirty-five thousand dollars ($135,000) to renovate a classroom into a science and technology laboratory at Independence high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) for educational technology at Independence high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county; and

three thousand dollars ($3,000) to purchase encyclopedias for Independence high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county.
