FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE NEW MEXICO FARM AND RANCH HERITAGE MUSEUM IN LAS CRUCES IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the office of cultural affairs

 

sixty-six thousand dollars ($66,000) to design and build a shade structure over the outdoor ampitheater at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

 

two hundred twenty thousand dollars ($220,000) to design and construct a maintenance and construction management facility, including addressing drainage and erosion problems and erecting a metal building, at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

 

one hundred eighty-one thousand five hundred dollars ($181,500) to repair, restore, relocate and erect a truss bridge at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

 

two hundred thirty-three thousand eight hundred dollars ($233,800) to design and construct a facility to house livestock and a cattlemans' exhibit barn at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

 

one hundred four thousand five hundred dollars ($104,500) for phase 2 landscaping improvements, including paths, rest areas, drinking fountains and fencing, at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county; and

 

one hundred thirty-two thousand dollars ($132,000) to design and construct the family interactive exhibits project at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county.
