SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 69

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Don Kidd

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE CARLSBAD SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT IN EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of New Mexico state university

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to renovate, including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Carlsbad soil and water conservation district building in Eddy county; and

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to renovate the Hackberry flood control project in the Carlsbad soil and water conservation district in Eddy county, contingent on matching funds from local sponsors.
