SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 47

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Carroll H. Leavell

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE JAL PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to make improvements, including replacement of windows with insulated walls, at Jal elementary school in the Jal public school district in Lea county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to replace the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in the gymnasium at Jal high school in the Jal public school district in Lea county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to replace the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in the cafeteria at Jal elementary school in the Jal public school district in Lea county.
