FOR EXTENDING THE EXPENDITURE PERIOD OF SEVERAL PROJECTS APPROPRIATED TO THE NEW MEXICO OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS IN LAWS 1998, CHAPTERS 7 AND 118.

 

 

 

A.  The period of time in which the proceeds from the sale of severance tax bonds appropriated to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs pursuant to the following subsections in Laws 1998, Chapter 118, Section 12 may be expended shall be extended through fiscal year 2006:

(1)  for the purpose of planning, designing or constructing the Shiprock veterans memorial building complex in San Juan county, pursuant to Subsection B;

(2)  to complete phases one and two of the Huerfano chapter multipurpose complex in San Juan county, pursuant to Subsection J; and

(3)  to complete phase two of the intergenerational center at the pueblo of Zia in Sandoval county, pursuant to Subsection K.

 

B.  The period of time in which the proceeds from the sale of severance tax bonds appropriated to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs pursuant to the following subsections in Laws 1998, Chapter 118, Section 18 may be expended shall be extended through fiscal year 2006:

(1)  to plan, design and construct a veterans memorial complex in Shiprock in San Juan county, pursuant to Subsection L;

(2)  for a feasibility study to plan, design and implement improvements to a sewage lagoon in Navajo in McKinley county, pursuant to Subsection Y;

(3)  for construction of phase 4 of the powerline extensions at Burnham chapter in San Juan county, pursuant to Subsection BB; and

(4)  to plan, design and construct a veterans memorial complex in Shiprock in San Juan county, pursuant to Subsection DD.

 

C.   Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the severance tax bonding fund.
