FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN BAYARD IN GRANT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

two million eight hundred thousand dollars ($2,800,000) for phase 2 improvements at the regional wastewater treatment plant in Bayard in Grant county;

• to the department of health

one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) to plan, design, renovate and make improvements to the Fort Bayard medical center in Grant county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for paving improvements on Henry street, north East street, north Foy street, Welch drive and Mahoney street in Bayard in Grant county;

two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) for curbs, gutters, sidewalks, street lighting and repaving on Hurley avenue in Bayard in Grant county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to chip seal various streets in Bayard in Grant county; and

two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($275,000) to plan, design and construct the Stewart street timber bridge project in Bayard in Grant county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to renovate municipal buildings in Bayard in Grant county;

one hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) to purchase a mini-pumper for the volunteer fire department in Bayard in Grant county; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to expand city hall in Bayard in Grant county.
