SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 94

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Cynthia Nava

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE GADSDEN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

thirty million dollars ($30,000,000) to make improvements at Santa Teresa high school and to construct a high school in Chaparral in the Gadsden independent school district in Dona Ana county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase and install technology infrastructure to be used for intersessions in the Gadsden independent school district in Dona Ana county.
