HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1098

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN CURRY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

sixty-four thousand five hundred dollars ($64,500) to chip seal county road 8 from county road E through county road G in Curry county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to purchase a fire truck and related equipment for the volunteer fire department in Texico in Curry county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to construct barns and buildings at the fairgrounds in Curry county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to renovate county-owned property into office space in Curry county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to construct an addition to the juvenile detention center in Curry county;

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to construct, equip and furnish a city hall in Texico in Curry county;

two hundred eighty thousand dollars ($280,000) to construct a police department complex in Texico in Curry county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish a warehouse and office space for the life saver food bank program in Clovis in Curry county.
