FOR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS IN HOBBS IN LEA COUNTY.
I request that the following capital
outlay projects be funded:
• to the department of environment
five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000)
to replace water and sewer lines and fire hydrants in Hobbs in Lea county; and
six hundred seventy-five thousand dollars
($675,000) for infrastructure improvements, including installing sewer lines
and extensions and resurfacing, in the Gibbs addition area of Hobbs in Lea
county;
•
to the state highway and transportation department
two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000)
to purchase slurry and chip seal materials for installation on roads in Hobbs
in Lea county; and
•
to the local government division of the department of finance and
administration
five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000)
to design and install irrigation, turf, roadways, trees, walkways and other
improvements at the Del Norte park in Hobbs in Lea county.
