FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the department of environment

 

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to extend the county water system to serve the lower La Cienega area in the Paseo C de Baca region in Santa Fe county;

 

• to the state highway and transportation department

 

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to design and build an overlay for a portion of county road 16 in Edgewood in Santa Fe county;

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to design, purchase materials for and pave a section of county road 8 in Stanley in Santa Fe county;

 

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) for improvements to county road 55-A in Santa Fe county;

 

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to design and construct a bridge at the county road 42 Los Angeles crossing in Santa Fe county;

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to repair, improve and reconstruct county road 55 in Santa Fe county;

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for gravel and road improvements to county road 18 in Santa Fe county; and

 

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) for road improvements to Kinsell avenue west in Stanley in Santa Fe county;

 

 

 

 

• to the interstate stream commission

 

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for repairs to the El Vadito de Cerrillos dam on the San Marcos arroyo in Santa Fe county; and

 

 

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

 

to construct a quartocentenario monument commemorating settlers in New Mexico at Saint Francis cathedral in Santa Fe in Santa Fe county;

 

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to acquire land for, plan, design and construct a youth and agriculture facility, to be used for extension services and 4-H club activities, in the southern area of Santa Fe county; and

 

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for improvements to the community park in Stanley in Santa Fe county.
