MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR YOUTH SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAMS IN TOHATCHI.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to contract for substance abuse prevention programs for youth in Tohatchi. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
