MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE FOURTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR A PRISON PROSECUTION UNIT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thirty-nine thousand one hundred forty-eight dollars ($539,148) is appropriated from the general fund to the fourth judicial district attorney for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 for a prison prosecution unit. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
