MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO FUND A HOUSING REHABILITATION LOAN PROGRAM FOR TAOS, MORA AND SANTA FE COUNTIES THROUGH THE NEW MEXICO MORTGAGE FINANCE AUTHORITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to fund a housing rehabilitation loan program through the New Mexico mortgage finance authority for rehabilitation of substandard residential housing in Taos, Mora and Santa Fe counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
