MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR A STATE LAND OFFICE IMAGING PROJECT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the state lands maintenance fund to the state land office for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 for an imaging project that will convert paper records to an electronic format. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the state lands maintenance fund.
