MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES TO CONTINUE AN E-COMMERCE INITIATIVE TO INCREASE SALES AND THE VISIBILITY OF NEW MEXICO PRODUCTS ON THE INTERNET.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-eight thousand dollars ($38,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to contract for services to continue an e-commerce initiative to increase sales and the visibility of New Mexico products on the internet. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
