MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE BOARD OF FINANCE TO REPAY AN EMERGENCY LOAN MADE TO GRANT COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eighty-nine thousand dollars ($189,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state board of finance for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to repay an emergency loan made by the state board of finance to Grant county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
