MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SAN JUAN COLLEGE NURSING PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of San Juan college for expenditure in fiscal years 2003 and 2004 to recruit, train and graduate additional nurses to meet the current and future needs of local and regional health care providers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
