has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:



1. Strike Senate Floor Amendment number 1.



2. On page 8, lines 4 and 5, strike "Two million four hundred twenty-six thousand dollars ($2,426,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000)".



3. On page 8, line 6, strike "the general fund" and insert in lieu thereof "available cash balances of the state department of public education".



4. On page 8, line 7, strike "year" and insert in lieu thereof "years 2002 and".
