MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO IMPROVE LIGHTING AND PROVIDE ESCORT SERVICES AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-three thousand three hundred dollars ($73,300) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to improve lighting and provide escort services at the university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
