MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT TO SCAN AND STORE COURT FILES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the second judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to contract for the scanning of old court files, to purchase equipment for the ongoing scanning of court files and to rent storage space for closed files. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
