AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPORT CREATION AND OPERATION OF A WEAVERS' AUCTION IN SANTA FE FOR TRADITIONAL WEAVERS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred five thousand dollars ($105,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to contract with an organization sponsoring a farmers' market in Santa Fe with more than one hundred fifty members for creation and operation of a weavers' auction to be located in Santa Fe to provide an outlet for products produced by traditional weavers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
