MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A WOMEN'S ADVOCACY CENTER AT LUNA VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL INSTITUTE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of Luna vocational-technical institute for expenditure in fiscal years 2002 and 2003 for a women's advocacy center to support educational opportunities for pregnant teenagers and single mothers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
